I'm looking for a winter project and thinking of changing the cam. I have a 78 L-82 4 speed with 3.70 gears and true dual exhaust. I would like something more aggressive than stock. I know I need better heads, but they aren't in the budget right now. Any recommendations? Thoughts on the links...

I have a 1978 L-82 with a 4 speed. I have true dual exhaust and edelbrock intake. Everything else is stock. I’m looking for a way to add some more power without replacing the heads. Is there a replacement cam that I can use that will provide more power and allow me to keep everything else...

I'm trying to remove the oil pan. I have the exhaust off and the 2 idler arm bolts off and the pan is not coming out. Does the front suspension have to hang for the pan to drop? I'm currently using ramps.

Can someone tell me how the trim around the T-Tops of a 78 are properly taken off for painting then reinstalled? I guess the rivets are drilled out, but then how is it reinstalled? Thanks

I'm getting ready to install a new dual exhuast in my 78 4sp. Do i need to somehow secure the pipes through the crossmember to prevent vibration?
