OK my '72 has a stock cammed basic LT1 engine setup on a L98 engine with HEI up top in back the way GOD intended as we know sparks and water don't mix..... And we know the batches are fired right bank/left bank back and forth..... Long time ago under one of the projects I forgot to ground...

Out on a minor trip today, pedal to floor, damn near, IF I hit/stomp it good car stops reluctantly.....been through front brakes not long ago...new pads/rotors, seemed fine for a couple months.... tore into the rear brakes this afternoon, found nothing, pads look new, rotors fine...no evidence...

Had some engine running problems when 'cold' meaning maybe 75F over night.....and after the repairs, the thing ran like shit when 'cold' when it hit ~130f it smoothed out..... I had bought FORD Autolite plugs for it, same looks, BUT made in CHINA..... I saved the old Champion plugs that...

spending a damn fortune.... there simply HAS to be a caliper set from a high production volume car that can be basically bolted in place on a C3 I assume a floating caliper, just so it grabs the rotor good, and preferably made from aluminum..... 50k worth of caliper designs out there...

And slipped off this morning, went clunk, thought something fell off the car, went to back out, and no brakes or steering...... seems some time ago a ~3" bolt 3/8 diameter went through the a/c pump mount, kind of a loan wolf, just under the compressor, and bolted the a/c mount to the cyl...

seemed to be related to exhaust system, had it solid welded, seemed to improve and the pipe rattle did no away.....thought it was FIXED.....RONG!!! for some reason at about ~2400 rpm or so, the vibrations on the shifter just drive me crazy, actually making noise.....I can shift gears...
