Over 15 years ago I met Paul when he was helping Joanie build a replica of the Billy Mitchell's Stingray. Joanie called her car Miss Mako and Paul was the chief wrench resurrecting her tired C2. We have been friends ever since & he has grown into a Corvette Troubleshooting Genius, not only for C4, C5, C6 but for diesel and even Caddy.

Two years ago my 1967 390 started dying – then not starting. My usual local mechanic has been otherwise occupied & finally I called Paul. I told him it was electrical, and he just asked the I have my oosoez wiring guides available. I was flattered.

Paul & his fellow Tech Tiffany Rose came to my house and in less that 10 minutes checked the battery, alternator, coil, volt regulator, starter, solenoid, ammeter, ignition switch & narrowed it down to one wire on the neutral safety switch. I'm not a mechanic & never professed to be one. It took longer to put the car lift up & down that for him to solve the problem.

Then I casually mentioned that my wife's Northstar trans was throwing codes – and he knew about that also & the new remedy – plus he can & will do that job at the Chevy store that is his main employer. I sure he can also solve a diesel Cat 300 electrical gremlin.

Paul's day job is at Milford Chevrolet and if you want expert and I mean expert factory GM trained & certified Corvette help he is the best bet out there. If you google Paul Koerner, you will see that he is well regarded for his tech sessions at Mike's Yeager's MAD Vette Fests, to August Carlile's Tech sessions to the Corvette Museum events. Thank Paul – you and Tiffany are the best. Can I adopt you? :D

There was a frequent poster on one of the forums....handle of Miss Mako....that was obviously her, I was unsure of that it was a chick or a guy....
