On my friends new project car, we are going to change the M/C. He is going to box up the #'s matching, and get a new one for now. What would YOU use?
1)Dorman $28.00
2)Wagner $40.00
3)Delco $60.00 (China)

Hey what about Cardone? I have had a couple of theres apart about two years ago for powdercoating and they looked good inside. Unless they changed something if you want the blead screws on the outside you can get the one for 77-up and swap the piston out. Not really sure why the newer one had the bleed screw casting and the older ones have the cheaper non blead screw housing, but thats the way it was last I knew.

Hell yeah. Why spend more money on that then you need to, it isn't going to make you go any faster after all.:)

why not send it out and get his original stainless steel sleeved?

He just got the car from his pop, and we are just getting it safe/running. Turns out, it does not have the numbers matching engine, so he is deciding what direction to take.
The original M/C will be stored for now.
