Rusted out junk.....with no redeeming value what so ever.....

sorry guys, but that car is just NOT cool.....

Now I can't remember the guy's name - a tuner of Minis from the 60s. He used to race with a front/rear engine mini cooper. Renault followed suit with one their own.... both cars were bad ass...

L O N G time ago, a church friend had some of those names in various shapes.....but I was into drag racing and torque, not so much on those names that rusted out SO fast in the DC region....Mid Atlantic up the coast is famous for rust regions, and very tough on any 'Unibody' car....recollecting the old daze of Chrysler from daze of the past.....

Denis this was a good show LOL
These guys are realy good and much more entertaining than the clowns circus show on TV we see all the time, great fab work, did you see how they bent the drive shaft tunnel in episode 4?
I liked it, this little car will be a monster.
No episodes 5?

Yeah, the metal work is top flight and all the jig related work is very instructive.
It's like Bobs77vet meets 427Swede for those who followed their thread.

Given the last video is dated 19 feb and they seem to produce a video each 2-3, I think it wouldn't be long before an update.
I subscribed, will update the post.

Oh Bogger!

front/rear engine.... you mean twin engine?

Thanks for posting this. These guys are almost having too much fun and I certainly am.

John Cooper was the Mini tuner but I don't recall if he did the dual engine model.

These little buggers were giant killers in their day and won a HELL of a lot of the Touring Car races then and still kick but in vintage racing. You can't take them drag racing but there's much more to racing than the straight line:twitch:

i enjoy watching these guys and I have to make one of those platforms......but first i have to retire and then i have to move out of the city to the country where the boss doesnt want to be and then i have to buy some land that she doesnt want and buy a big ass garage for me which she doesnt want......maybe building that platform may be more challenging then i first thought.....
