Thinking about a salvage title car? .....

Watch this first. I'll admit, I didn't watch ever minute, but it was as enough to convince me salvage titles are definitely buyer beware.

This is the part that got me (from comment section):"Frame was not that bad, most of the buckle came out when he pulled the rail down."

I can see little to no use for a car with a salvage title if you are going to put money or time in it and ever want to sell it.....

now for a farm vehicle go for it.....
 
Yeah. That thing would probably handle weird ( the one in the vid).

Worse would be if the car was repaired on cash, no insurance claim. Then the title would be clean.
 
The guy narrating the video doesn't seem to think the car is repairable but then the video shows them putting it back together. Pretty weird.

I have insurance with State Farm and I don't think they will insure a salvage titled vehicle.
 
Largest issue is to make damn sure you can get hold of a very similar car title and VIN TAG then swap them over......have to know a source for that as it's a bit shady.....but in fact quite common, as to cost.....I have no clue....
