Clinging to my guns and religion in KCMO.
Oil to water heat exchanger. Fits between the block and oil filter. Never used. Copper/brass construction (that's not rust causing the color). Bought it several years ago for my turbo engine for the '69, but ended up putting the engine in the '84 that already had an oil cooler. $40 plus shipping.

Ah, a KC4 cooler :)

They are very nice! If you need the lines for the, hawksthirdgen now sells aluminum lines for the camaro, they are for that cooler. That's the early model for use w/ hose & hose clamps. The later one uses an alu block like the AC compressors do.

A new one is super rare and the price is a steal.

Boy thats kind of funny I was looking around on one my parts shelfs about 3 hours ago and found that same part (new and was woundering what it was for) now lets see if I can find a use for it.
Maybe I keep to much stuff ( hoarder)
