I must be a cheap sob, because after years of buying the cans of WD40 found an alternative.

A can went dead and was still half full so I dumped it in a spray bottle. It is so convenient, that I asked if the local auto parts store carried gallons of WD40. They had gallons on clearance for $12.

I'm done with the small cans.

One thing I figured I'd pass along.

We can get a lot of snow, so everyone around here owns snowblowers. I was using Fluid Film for coating the fan and auger to keep snow and ice from building up and shearing pins. It is pretty expensive, so this winter I switched to wd40.

Wd40 actually works better, it doesn't seem to wear off.
