200k miles, any of you know the typical service history of these cars....

1.8, auto....serious problem here, need honest answers....

shit's hitting the fan now....

Linda got hit really hard in the rear of her Ford Escort, and the bastards are typical Florida legal anything....

and we need replace the car......

:cussing:

got 200k on my Mustang (4 banger, 2.3) and it's running just fine, a buddy at work just sold his Civic with 270k miles .... these 4 banger engines can last a long time..... my concern would be the auto trans.....

don't you still have that Miata ??

Yes, she is driving it, but trick is, she needs a 4 dr sedan for hauling her aunt and mother around the Miata is SO lo to the ground the old ladies can't get in/out of it, and too boot it's obviously only one at a time, so several trips.....the insurance company for the guy who killed the Escort and damn near Linda, won't pay the price of replacing the Escort which is about 2500 bux, they offering only 1500 bux plus 200 if we don't take a rental for only a week max.....she gets nothing for all the pain and suffering under this fucked up no fault rules we got here for some years now.....hospital bills are only paid to 80%, well, WE damn sure not paying ANYTHING on that score.....her lawyer client basically says, we are screwed, the 'legal' system is NOT on our side in this....the bastard hit her at an easy 45mph, and wiped her into the car ahead of her, figger him for texting, lousy bastard, and he walks with two tickets, careless driving, and driving while suspended/revoked/etc.....a stupid fine of 164 bux each total 328 bux woopie doo.....typical fucked up Florida 'legal' system.....

They have to pay replacement value, just get a attorney and make them pay him too... If they want to low ball you screw them
