SOLD need a change ..... for sale 37 ford, would trade for another vette

vehicle sold

well title says it all any body want to change up their game???? i will consider any proposal, preference would be for an automatic but doesnt really matter. car is in Arlington va.

This car is a driver and we drive it to shows and around the neighborhood this is a show favorite and has lots of patina that can't be duplicated with a new paint job and is a perfect candidate for an old school rod. If you are looking for a perfect car then this is not for you. There is no evidence of any accident damage to frame or body.

All steel with original mechanicals and a clear title with numbers matching the frame and 3 spd transmission. Title history going back to the 50s, Previously rebuilt 21 stud flathead with new style oil pump. professionally rebuilt carburetor, new clutch disk, pressure plate, throw out bearing and fly wheel cut. Electric fuel pump with filter and holley pressure regulator. PCV valve installed. New steering wheel locking key and key cylinder. Oil pressure gauge works, speedometer works but needs new cable, water temp gauge does not work and would need to be replaced, fuel gauge is not hooked up. New 12v alternator, new custom wiring harness, halogen front lights, turn signal lights and column mounted switch, LED rear signal/brake lights. There is no functioning horn. New roller bearing king pins installed with new ball joints and drag link. Steel front floor boards that are bolted in place and designed to be removed for access to X member and trans area. Photo documentation of all work done.
I believe the Paint and body work was done in the 1970s and has a Patina that is great. I have spot repaired areas that needed attention . The paint is very shiny but has flaws , cracks, scratches, chips and other failures. Around the rear valance area and trunk tool storage area the work could have been done better. I have not touched it up because the overall patina is pretty cool. Front and rear bumper are straight and are painted silver, due to pitting. Interior has all window trim. Windows go up and down with the help of a person and I have not looked at the mechanism but I assume it just needs some TLC and new bushings. A couple of windows have cracks, scratches ,chips, etc. Seats are intact and front seat adjusts the front seat could use some new springs where driver sits. I believe I have all interior trim pieces and also the original radio.

Additional parts: Complete parts for putting 39 Juice brakes on the car including backing plates, wheel cylinders rubber hoses, brake pedal/clutch assembly, parking brake mechanism, stainless steel brake lines. Frame tabs for unions, Master cylinder would need to be rebuilt and I would recommend replacing all rubber hoses and internal rubber parts of new wheel cylinders since they were NOS. I have pulled the hubs with a puller so they are not frozen. Also included extra wheel drums.
I have an extra 21 stud engine that could be rebuilt and it has already been disassembled and the crank and cam are good. No cracks around valves but need a couple of cylinder sleeves

i have a car trailer and we can work out something to transport it. $8750 obo

Bob,
If I had the room, in a heartbeat. Too many projects, and not enough time. I'll spread the word. J
