Went to the auto parts store to get a different PCV valve, a better breathing one as per previous discussions. Couldn't find the AC/Delco part, only cross references. We had several on the counter, I was looking at letters on the pintel. "A" breathes better than "F", according to previous discussions. I picked up an "A" and sucked gently on it. It did not breathe well. I then picked up an "F" and did the same. It breathed very much easier! One, the other, back again--the counterman is giving me funny looks. Popped a couple others out, same thing. The "F" pintel was much freer breathing than the "A".

I bought the "F".

So now what?

I had a F in my LT1 intake mani I fitted up last winter onto the old L98 engine.... it worked fine....

then I lost interest because I got to messing with crankcase suction devices and a cheeep airpump I had on the shelf....so messing around I figgered it was not worth it....

went back to the F valve, and thought no more of it....

dunno, on other words....
