82 CFI Breather Cover

Does anyone have a suggestion on repainting the air breather to the factory look. I tried wrinkle powdercoat, but it didn't turn out correctly. The wrinkles were huge, and looked like crap. I have since removed all of the PC, and needing suggestions.

SEM has a product for duplicating the dash texture look, but I don't know how it will turn out.

Suggestions!

I used DupliColor "Trim Black". (Advance Auto Parts). It's a satin finish and it adheres well. I just lightly sanded, wiped off the sanding dust and painted 3 light coats.

Here is a picture of what it should look like. I took mine all the way down to bare metal. I can't touch it up.
