Just for fun, I test fitted my friends BMW M5 wheel to my vette. I really wanted to see if a 275 would fit up front, and it does... kind of. The rim hits the balljoint on the control arm. Its an 18x9.5 The offset is a little much (sucked in the fender about 5/8") but even with the correct offset, it would be quite close. The only place I would have an issue with would be my brake duct at full lock. Everywhere else is close, but it fits. I think it looks pretty good too! Especially when everyone has torque thrust 2's.

Years ago I found that '92/89 vette wheels would keep same center line with 2.5" adapters....VBP but trick was that in front I would only fit 255/50/17 without rubbing on frame or ? sway bar?.....

in rear I could do 275/50/17 no problem..

and I have to say those are nice looking wheels....:friends:

I really only put them on to test fit the size... but the more I look at it, the more I like it. I could definitely see some mesh style wheels in my future. :D
