1965 vette, rebodied, at a PHA Hillclimb. Has an interesting history. Still racing in the SE

This car was orignally a California racer. Was a 65 chassis, rebodied with a 69 roadster body. Won several championships in CA, in A Prod, with Dick Raymond at the wheel. Car was rebodied to run T/A (Ron Maccario) in the 80`s. Same body that is on the car now.

always liked watching Smut Point run with all the different classes, and the nice V8 sounds of the vettes, vs the 4 cyl motorcycle sound....

Friend of mine, Larry VanScoy also had one very close in looks to your 69. was red as well

beautiful car. Friend Larry VanScoy also ownd and raced a red fat bodied vette about this same time
