Approximate weight of a bare frame

does anyone know?

I remember helping a vette shop owner carry one to a blasting rack/sawhorses, and I had the front end, he on the rear, it was about 250 lbs total, barely got it on to the rack, it was right at my limit, about 150 lbs or so, back then....

I was thinking they were around 280 pounds. I weighed mine (using two WM bathroom scales) after a bunch of modifications (which added some weight) and got 310 pounds.

hum, some says 250, some says 280, I really need to find this out....

I don't remember how I found out what the weight of my frame was, maybe the weight was on an original shipping bill. I've always thought it weighed a little less than 300 pounds. I'd go with the 280 pound figure. I guess I could believe it if someone was sure is was only 250 pouonds.

Just remember asking Tony what that weighed, he said 'about 250 lbs'....

I had to use the bathroom so didn't stick around for a actual weigh in....

I confirm, with three normally built guys, moving a frame is easy.

I'd say around 250, it only took the blaster and myself to lift it of the trailer
