Body Mount Shims

I'm replacing the body mounts on my 77. I had a larger gap at the top of the doors on the hinge side before starting this job. Would I add or remove shims on the #4 and #3 mount or the #1 and 2 mount to even this gap out on the top and bottom of the door on the hinge side? I know how many I took out from each before I started. So just wonder where to add or remove to solve this issue.

The shims will do nothing for your door gaps.

Nothing for the hinge gap but adjusting the shims will change the gap on the lock side of the doors.

The way the rear panels are bonded to the cage and pillar panel doesn't allow any movement in that area, trust me.
