Motor cranks but no fuel at injectors. Should I look at fuses or maybe a relay. Installed a 1985 fuel pump 18 months ago.

I would hang a voltmeter on the fuel pump itself.....as close as you can get to the pump directly...see if you get voltage, if not, you got a bad relay or control TO the relay....or a bad fuse.....pay attention to the ground side also...maybe run a wire from the engine to the ground on the pump just to cover that base....

IF you sure you have voltage there....you got a bad pump....

IF you can hear it run...maybe a bad/clogged up tight filter?? sounds dubious without previous running/demand/operational problems....

Thanks for the suggestions. I will start as you advised.

Well, one ting I left unclear, you can jumper volts to the pump direct from the battery, and see if you hear the pump run with engine off, and have pressure....

that limits it to the rest of the control mess....

There are 2 injector fuses on the fuse block, check those first

does the pump prime if you switch ign to on but don't crank the engine?? you should be able to hear it from the fuel filler area

Does the check engine light come on with engine off and ign on?

Check the fuel pressure, it s usually the 1st thing to do.

Is there an inertia switch on those?

Sorry for the delay on this post. It was the fuel pump and the fuse.

After reading a post on delco relays I think this delco pump was made in China.

Warranty was good.

Thanks to all for your support.
