It looks like there's only one wire for the vette e-brake. How does it work? Is the e-brake grounded itself?

Switched ignition current, most likely off the yellow wired fuse goes to one side of the idiot light, other side goes to a switch, that grounds it if the brown wire is activated by ebrake handle or the pressure switch in the hydraulic lines...we some call a proportioning valve, ti's not really, just a pressure IMbalance switch that turns on the light....

The e-brake handle is grounded. When you pull the handle, the switch lifts and makes contact with the bracket and you get a ground. Light comes on. There is another leg off that wire that goes to the differential pressure switch in the hydraulic system- one side loses too much, the contact in teh center shifts, makes a ground, light comes on.
