A piece of my 90 door sill broke off. I still have the piece from it though ..... Have any of you fiberglassed these with success and if you were to how would the plastic react to the resin? If I used a thin mat would they still fit as good?

Both of them have more cracks and I thought about replacing them but figured other used ones can't be in much better condition then these. So whats the best way to repair these and strengthen them?

My '87 had a tan interior, but the tops of the door liner/sills? were black, and so the backing was some black plastic that I never found a glue to adhere to it, not for very long with any strength anyway.....I don't remember trying fiberglass though, maybe.....:surrender:

epoxy adhesive, I've used that to repair stuff like that by applying it to the cracked area and adding a patch on the rear for added strength.
