post up some pictures of your paint jobs that you did. before/after would be cool

Did you strip the car or sand it down? What buildup primers did you use?

Heres what I'm dealing with. My car needs no body work but clear is going to hell. The hood and bumpers were replaced with nice white parts so they wont need to be stripped I dont thing.

Heres another project vette I have. needs interior/body work/paint and a few other things. Was ready to part it out but not so sure now.

LOL... it's a 1968 Karmann Ghia. Air cooled VW bug engine, 1.6 liter 50HP, advertized top speed is 73mph

That Ghia needs, no, SCREAMS for a turbo 3.8 Buick engine....:trumpet::trumpet::devil:
 
I painted mine in my garage last winter. Here are some pics,this was my first time at body work and painting. It was not too bad.

That job would be good enough for my car LOL .... I'm basically looking for just a 20 foot driver paint job since the car will be a daily car and subject too ll incidents. I'm more concerned with an immaculate interior then perfect paint.
 
Not the vette..but my last full paint job....

as it was when I picked it up...with the quickie Maaco paint job
