Best programmer OBDI

For what year / engine?

Well we want it to be a tuner/scanner
and its going to be for Lt1s in the vettes. One is totally stock while the other has the LT4 crate motor in it.

I have no idea on the LT1-4 series engine, just what is involved, except to say the L98 systems, both speed density and MAF do take a special CalPak and chip that is NLA, so you have to either reburn the old chip, which is possible, or use a later chip....

Early LT1 ( '92/'93 ) had the # 16159278 ECM in a weatherpak case with same style removable memcal as the the TPI cars. There is very little support for this style ECM
The '94+ cars have a sealed alum case (PCM ) with flash memory built in so you need a cable and software to adjust the tune directly

For ECM's with removable memcals ,using this

you can adjust tune in real time ( while you drive if you like )
Or you can buy an adapter
http://www.moates.net/product_info.php?cPath=31&products_id=41
that fits in the ECM and carries a eprom that you can remove and reprogram whenever required using this
