After about 10 years of Platonic love, last summer I tought that right time was come, so I started to look my vette... found in agost near Los Angeles (chatsworth) arrived here in italy on november

Nice work! I love seein' frame offs....gotta be careful though, makes me think about it myself, and with the egine and trans out now....hmmmm

Are you planning any modifications, or is this going back to basically stock?
 
No half measures there :) keep it coming!

Those little slits on the bottom of the cylinder bores are pretty common, they are little casting defects from where the cores sit together

Christmas in Italy!!! Really, really nice stuff. Should be a great ride when you're done, and thanks for sharing your efforts with us! Like Jim said, please do keep the pics and the updates coming, it's always great to see what others with similar interests are doing.
 
Shit, you haven't messed around, have you? That's a ton of work in under a year :thumbs::thumbs:

One year for that work is a lot of time
too much time!

I had dedicatet few hours a day after work time
when my girl allowed me this privilege
more or less...
a week for interior
a week for remove and clean frame
a week for disassemble engine and trasmission
 
Nice work....I enjoy watching other enthusiasts progress. I try and not put time limits on my work, it becomes too frustrating when life and economic issues and other projects step in and throw everything off. As long as you are having fun and satisfied, that's all that matters IMO. Keep the pic coming!
