Nice cars!

I thought that bringing American cars into Tailand has been illegal for years? Have all of those cars been there for years?

All cars older than 10 years old are very difficult to import as to protect the car industry here. To import a new car from any country the duty and taxes amount to 300 percent, older cars the customs department asses the value so it could be more than 300%.

Many countries do this to keep the market from being flooded with boat loads of used Japanese cars.
