Ford 9" axle?

IF you are talking of a whole axle from flange to flange, sure, done alot for drag purposes only.....
but if you talking machine work on a 9" carrier/housing assy to fit up into a shark stockish position, I would say NO, and not worth the bother without fitting HUGE CV joints and more solid other stuff also, most guys choose to loose the IRS....with it's obvious implications....

There maybe a complete kit out for that stuff, years ago a hotrod fab shop I was unfortunately involved with did about 2-3 sharks that way for Gainsville action....
I THINK there maybe kits for doing the suspension anyway...but the rear tub, I dunno, we/they always did the whole thing....sheetmetal too...
but it's been over a decade already, and I forget a lot....
