Solid Axle Rear Swap

I know that this has more than likely been posted here; but due to our search rules items such as 4 Link, 12 Bolt, 9", 9 Inch, etc. do not work. Anyway, I am looking for an accurate mounting flange to mounting flange dimension for a solid axle rear that would result in stock wheel placement once installed in a C3. Also photos or info on any solid axle swaps that have been done in NHRA/IHRA stock class cars.
 
They use the factory swing arm. Everyone said that this would not work until they saw the first car that tried it. Monty Bogan Jr. had his Vette outlawed from competition a few years ago. I would love to see that set up!
