C3 and C4 halfshaft wall thickness

I'm trying to do a torsional strength comparison of the C3 and C4 halfshafts. Anyone know the wall thicknesses of these shafts? My calculations will be focused on my particular application (requiring shortened C4 shafts, or lengthened C3 shafts), but the end result numbers should be able to be converted/ratio'd to describe stock length shafts. I'm replacing the stock 2.5 inch C3 shafts with 3.5 inch C4 shafts.

I can check for you this weekend, I have a cut off 3" halfhsaft. Are the C4 shafts 3,5"? i could swear they're 3".

Yep.

I also need to find out what constant I use in the torsion calculations. I have all the info in one of my chassis/handling books for steel tubes and torsion bars, but I've been having difficulty on the web finding what value I use for aluminum.
