New compressor.

I just scored a screaming deal on a compressor the other day. I got an 80gal dual stage 5hp Mckerlie Millen compressor for $300 with the starter. Woohoo. Way overkill but the price was right. The ad says 100gal but it's actually 80.

Funny you mention that. Had help loading it but not unloading.I hope the neighbors didn't hear me cursing. I had to take the motor off when I slid it out of the back of the truck. Had ratchet straps holding it making sure it didn't slip too far . You're right, about 400lbs. The air pump weighs a lot more than the motor. My garage is attached to the house which will be great when I start using the brad nailer for trim, forget that noisy 2 gallon bulky thing to carry around.

3 and 4 stage compressors are usually used for things like dive tanks at pressures up to 5000psi.

I'm pretty sure the guy didn't know what he had. It's just a two stage compressor. It doesn't say what size the tank is , he just guessed at 100 gal. It looks like 80 to me.
