Picked up a bb intake, at a yard sale, but have no idea if it is any good. Who can help me out?

I found some info. 72, bronze, rectangular port. But can you use it on a street machine or is this just a crappy intake?

Yeh, off hand, anything PRE '73 is good, if it has no EGR on it.....the early GM manifolds really sucked when EGR was introduced, the flow characteristics are all restrictive....
