I'm going go to a dual plane cyclone plus instead of the single plane.

Both are from professional products

I'll do some gasket matching and maybe cut a slot out of the divider

I may put on an open spacer also

I'm running lower RPM's at the auto-x and could use more low end

If you cut the divider out of a dual plane manifold you will, in effect, make it a single plane manifold. Your call.

Yes and no

It will still have the longer and smaller runners that increase velocity

I'll just leave it at first It says the manifold is good up to 6500 and my rev limiter is at 6800

The same could be accomplished with a open spacer also

Is it really that much cheaper than the weiand intake?

My dad bought it about 2 years ago, it was just sitting around

I have a few GM ones also but I think this one is better than them for high RPM
