Rear wheels

I'm sure this has been ask a million times before, but please bear with me. When running offset trailing arms on a 81 what ti the max width and back spacing that may be run. I'm trying to figure out if I can squeeze 315/35X17's on a 11.0 or 11.5 inch wheel. I want to keep it tucked in as tight as possible. Thanks!

These offset arms don't really give you a lot more room, the frame is almost as close to the wheel as the TA.... Yellow73SB has posted a few pics form under the car that show the tight spots.

Here's a photo with 11x17 ZR1 rims, I don't know whose car this is, found the pic a few years ago.... it was posted on CF I'm sure... the owner said these are 11x17 and I saved the pic because at the time I wanted to fit these wheels on my '79.... these rims have like 7" backspacing, therefore a adapter is required.
