1975 Monthly Production Numbers

In 1975 Corvettes were manufacture from October 1974 till the end of July 1975. Mine was made in April of 1975. When it comes to part numbers for alternator there are two; one for early cars, and one for later cars. What month did they designate for the early cars versus the late ones?

Yes, but are the cars made in 1974 considered to be the early ones and any thing after and including Jan the later cars?

I can't really answer that question. The term "early" and "late" is used for lots of parts with no real correlation to an actual date.

There is a book "Corvette by the Numbers 1955–82" that may have the answer to your question. Perhaps someone here has that book?
