When you changed over how did you set up your throttle cable?

Is that the original linkage on a 74 Its a little bit different.Not sure what you're looking for specifically, but here's a pic.

That's linkage is original on a 73.

Well I got it all to geather that is the 750 proform carb and the parts needed to install it And did it.....
Well I can not begin to explain the difference the sound the instant power ever thing is better ( A lot! when I left the shop at about 10 miles per hour I punched it and had to get out of it due to side drift.
My Q jet never did that.
my Q jet did not like the hooker header with side pipes with sts baffles. ran very lean. Any thoughts on this
454 with a 70s street master intake, single plan, 4 speed.
would this intake have any effect of the Q jet?
