Can I use swirl remover and polish on a plastic bumper...not an old vette, but a modern car?

:waxer:

Is there a particular reason you're worried about it being a new car? IMO, paint is paint and swirl marks are swirl marks.

I found this write-up that might interest you.

As a side note, I've used the Autoglym Super Resing Polish on my 2005 Dodge and it worked a treat

Oops...just reread what I typed....I'm not worried about the paint on the car, just the paint on the plastic bumper. Guess it should be ok to use the polish on the bumber.

Just went to that site. Never heard of Autoglym. I'll look it up.

Thanks.

I've used various Autoglym products for years and love them. Maybe a bit more expensive than some other brands but it's damn good shit.

A plastic bumper will be more flexible than the steel bodywork but you shouldn't be pushing too hard anyway...
