700R4... Good news!

I posted a couple weeks ago about my trans leaking... I was pretty nervous about the cost...

I took it to a highly recommended shop today and he diagnosed it as:

1. Rear seal leaking
2. Pan gasket leaking
3. Speedo cable fitting leaking


Total cost for the fix... $125.

Next Saturday... good news!:yahoo:

That is good news. I will have $550 in a new pump and torque converter before I get mine rolling again.

Yes, He replaced the rear seal, speedo cable seal, re-sealed the dipstick housing, new pan gasket, shift linkage gasket(?), new filter, new fluid all for $138.00.

It's as dry as the Sahara desert under there!:crylol:
