Tranmission Info, shift points???

Is there another section for tranny stuff? Forgive me if so.

Specifically for a 4l60e, A4 in a c5;

I am looking for shift points for 1/4 mile. Why and where do you really want your shifts to take place at a certain point. Peak Power band? Peak Torque band?
No doubt you want this to occur so as you when you go into the next gear you will be most efficient but specifically at what point? Looking to keep turbos spooled up, make efficient shift, etc.

Well thank you much, that helps to give me a starting point. No doubt alot of this is T&E, but nice to at least have the thing near the cross hairs.

BTW, thank God fuel has come down. I never realized how fast your Vette will consume fuel a 1/4 mile at a time. :twitch:
