Hi,
I have got a TKO600 in the workshop and soon I start installing it. Now our friends from Keisler want you to dialing in the Bellhouse. That' s ok. BUT should the flywheel not be dialed into see if it is flush to the crank. What if there is a "wobble". Or is this only my mind striving to perfection?

They want you to dial in the runout of the bellhousing in repsect to the crank centerline. If you are worried about the flywheel not being true to the centerline you can use the same mag base dial indicator and check for runout in that plane. If the axial eccentricity is more than say 0.005" I would have the flywheel trued, or get a replacement one.

The magnetic indicator stand will attach to the flywheel (cast iron is magnetic). If your flywheel "wobbles", it still will not affect the indicator readings as the crank is turned. However, if you suspect that the flywheel is not true, that should be corrected also.

for the flywheel: 65 lbs, and use loctite.
for the bellhousing: 25 lbs. ft
