What is the deck hight of a 454 Mark 1V corvette block.
Are all mark 1V blocks the same hight?

My two rear decks are maybe 2-5" height.....the front deck varies from 6" to 12" or so.....
had a deck up north that was some 5' height.....
and another one that went from 5" to 12".....

Yea mine are the same but its due to earth movement, not construction.
As for deck high never mine I now know the answer....

short deck: 9.80" <- corvette block is a short deck.
tall deck: 10.20"

9.8 is the stock deck height. Some piston/rod combinations they ask for a little less to get the piston right up to the top of the block for a touch more compression/quench. I saw something (somewhere) about dropping the deck height to 9.7something with one of the rotating kits I was looking at. it wasn't much less than 9.8 something like 9.785? Just squaring the deck to the crank centerline would get you there.
