Hello from Alabama. Just found this site. I usually spend time on one of the other sites...you know, the one with all the whining and argueing. Anyway, this site looks really great. I am 30 months into a '75 4-speed coupe. Took the first drive this week and it was fantastic. This car is kind of an 80's custom. I was building a lot of customs(esp. widebodies) in the 80's and I really like the look. Don't get me wrong, I love an original car, but I can't afford to be a purist!
This car was a basket-case, barn find, money pit, but I love it. It sat out in the weather from 1991 until I got it in 06. All new engine, suspension, drive train and the interior is finished but not installed. All parts have been media blasted and painted or powder coated. It's going to be black...real black. Even blacking out all the chrome.
