In the pursuit of lowering my floorboard temps, I installed two of these 2' units a few weeks ago.http://www.jegs.com/p/Thermo+Tec/752722/10002/-1

I think they help alot, but Teri swears the floor is warmer now.:cussing: I admit they still get hot, but I think they are helping. I may have to do a thermocouple test to prove it to myself.
For $70. a pair, and VERY easy to install, I figured why not try them.

Instead of trying to fab a heat shield, I used the same things on the exhaust pipe going under my fiberglass spring.

They seem well built units,huh?

I was a little reluctant when I ordered them...thought I was going to throw money down the drain and then have to put on a sheild. When I got them, I was quite impressed. Very well made. I've had them on for a few thousand miles now and they look as good as they did when I first installed them.
