I rebuilt the PS control valve today. Went very good. Question, what is the torque amount for the two bolts that bolt the 2 halves together?

Rebuilt the PS assist cylinder yesterday. It too went good. The ball stud seal that came with the kit has a 7/16 inch hole in it to slip over the ball stud. I am not bragging but my ball stud is 5/8 inch. I called the vendor today and long story short was told he didn't know there was two sizes. He would check into it and get back which he did. He is still checking. Question, is there two different sizes?

Car is 68. Valve and cylinder are both stamped 68.

The torque spec for those two bolts is 20 -30 ft-lbs. Thanks Jim Shea

It's on. On the workbench I slipped the seal over the threads then placed a flat washer next to it then started tightening the nut down. Once it started down the taper it went like it had eyes. Good fit. I just didn't want to force it until I asked.
