I plan on grinding out my spider veins in the rear bumper, then filling them. Can I use Evercoat adhesive/ filler or do I need some sort of reinforced filler?

Is your rear bumper stock (urethane) or fiberglass ??

If the urethane bumper is in good shape I highly recommend Duramix urethane patch, that stuff is simply awesome for urethane repairs, cracks, holes whatever... it's great.... two 4oz tubes, mixing ratio 1:1.... $30... not cheap... :smash:

It's glass or SMC, can't tell. It's an aftermarket 82 style that was graphted onto my 78.

That Evercoat SMC panel adhesive works on SMC and fiberglass. It comes in a 1qt can, it's the only product that I could find that does NOT require this $100 dual cartridge gun....

Ecklers sell body filler and SMC adhesives too. It will work too. They also have a product made by Lord Fusor, but is a little on the high side for what you want to do.

Evercoat's Fibertech kevlar reinforced filler. At $60 a can, I hope it doesn't crack. I spread it way past the seam.
