Headlight removal

At the back there appears to be a pivot with a slip collar around it with an allen set screw in it.

What is the purpose of the slip collar and set screw.

I really dont get how all this comes apart. Chilton's and Haynes are both practically useless. Remove 3 capscrews my ass.

That is how the door is adjusted to center it in the opening. Should be one on each side.
