So I am looking to add some extra Cubes but with so many create engine suppliers on line where to buy is not real clear. So far I am looking at Speed-O-Motive in CA they have on there web site a small block 427 plus the 383 stroked motor. The other option is a 383 from M&R Engines also in CA. So the question is there other builders that you could recommend?

recommend these guys and I can build my own engines very easily, but you have a hard time getting the same QUALITY and attention to detail. if you don,t have the tools and experiance
you need to shop carefully, pay attention to the parts used, its easily possiable to find two 383 -427 SBC engines both rated at 400-450 hp and have the parts list be totally differant, and the potential durrability vary a great deal, yes you generally get what you pay for and theres few bargins, if its cheaper THERES A REASON!

When we have time in the shop we build some street and strip performance engines and we can dyno it when its done to make there are no leaks and find peak timing and get some HP and torque numbers for you.

Here is a link to look over that we built and dynoed 2 weeks ago.

On the next build I would like to use the new Dart SHP block and build a 388 CID with a good HYD.roller and everything else the same.

Sounds good but what kind of money are you talking for a motor with carb and distributor? My problem is the shipping and 40% duty getting it in the country.:confused2:

What do you want for a dist. and intake and I can price everything out?
