Has anyone had experience with buying a stroked small block from
Speed-O-Motive

Maybe this will help or not. I used to use Speed o Motive in the 80's and 90's for all my engine parts. They have been around -almost- forever. I know people who have bought their engines ( back then ) and were very happy. I

That's one of the shops with good reputation, haven't heard bad things about them but also have never dealt with them personally.
Ohiocrank, theenginestore.com and Whiteperformance have received good feedback too (source: numerous chevy boards).
 
I got a super deal from them many years ago on a 3.750 stroker rotating kit. I was ordering a high end kit and they called me and said that they had this super light nitried crank that was so expensive that it had just been sitting on the shelf for years.

so I ask what the catch was...... Well he said that i could just have it for the prior agreed upon cost if I would be a Speedo-motive
