The stars thread gave me a idea, seems I have a Whirlpool gas range, and the spark igniters on the cook surface are nothing but a simple little ceramic piece with a contact inside and sticking up under the burner assy....so guess what they want for one of these units???

try about 35 bux, either locally or over the internet....i's a 5 buck part....got two of them going out....one out for a couple years now and the second if going out now....

I going to drill out the metal, and put in a spark plug, screw it right into the surface in the correct position and height should be really easy....:bounce::bounce::bounce:

fix maybe take what?? 20 minits at most???

:bounce::bounce::cussing: Told you all I am a cheeep bastard.....
