It's most likely a replica indeed, those weber manifolds were never used, the actual ones used had shorter runners with adapters for the 58mm DCO webers.

It does have the lightweight a arms, the offset brake booster and all. VERY nice!

Here's some neat reference stuff:

I like the aluminum radiator support on the GS002. Just for kicks, does anyone have a stock one sitting around to weigh?

Mike, A 68 BB support weighs 15lbs 4oz. It is basically the same as a midyear support.

Thanks. I'm perplexed. The link says that the aluminum reproduction weighs about 1/4 of the standard steel piece. How the heck are they eliminating 75% (almost 12#) of the weight? I can't believe just the material change would do that. Is it paper thin? What am I missing here?

Well aluminum is 1/3 the weight of steel so maybe they mean 1/3 is "about" 1/4:skeptic:

Incidentally, Jim Jaeger, the owner of that car, has his collection here (in Cincinnati). I have never been invited to see it but I know some who have, very impressive (from what I hear). He is the founder of Cincinnati Microwave or Escort Radar detectors
