17 x 8 Cragar S/S Alloy Chrome Wheels

Anybody heard any complaints about the Cragar S/S 610 Alloy wheels. They have 4.5" backspacing but they will not rust or have to be polished like the Torque Thrust II. It seems that American Wheels is starting to make the Torque Thrust II in their custom shop only. That's a good way to drive up the cost by supply & demand.

Also does anyone know what lugs go on the 82. They asked me if they are 7/16" or metric?

Stock is 7/16" - I'd upgrade to metric 12mm or 1/2" for additional strength and piece of mind.

Well I didn't hear any negative feedback, so I ordered the wheels & tires. The whole package mounted, balanced, lugnuts, caps, chrome valve stems, & shipping was $1200. The tires will be the Riken Raptor 255/50/17. It appears to be a good tire for the money, & the tread design looks aggressive. I will update with pictures when they arrive.

what size did you go with?

I went with the 17 x 8 with 4.5" backspacing, with the 255/50/17 tires. I hope there want be a problem with anything rubbing in the rear. If there is I guess I will install a 1/2" spacer.
