TKO 600 27" drive shaft

Has anybody had a problem of fitting the 27" drive shaft between the diff and the TKO 600? I need about another 1" or 1.5" taken off. The motor and tranny are sitting right on their mounts(solid motor mounts and poly tranny) and the diff bolted up perfectly. Not sure why I can't fit the same size driveshaft thats recommended and everybody else is using. I've thought maybe it might be the tranny yoke. Does anybody have a part # for the yoke that they used?

I have a TKO500 but I believe they are the same dimensions as the 600. I am using a 27.00 inch driveshaft but I am using a Ford take apart yoke. Looks like Mybad's yoke is longer than mine:

Thats what my yoke looks like, is that a TKO driveshaft?

That's how I received it from Keisler. I remember there was some discussion in 2006 about driveshaft lenght and yoke size.... that was the reason why I took that photo with the tape on it.... if I could only remember the rest of that story....
