Did you cut a piece out of the flare? Looks like there's a chunk missing on the front edge.
 
That looks like a blast. I don't think I have the guts to try it, but that has got to be fun:cool:.

Looks repairable, took out the suspension corner, looks like the frame was not hit.
 
Where was this at? I have a friend in Asheville who did hill climbs in his younger years.

This was just north of Asheville at the Wolf Ridge Ski resort, bet he did the Chimney Rock Hillclimb, it ran from 53' till 95', then it was moved to Beech Mt for a few years.

There's one next month at Banner Elk, NC

I'll have to check with him, but I'm pretty sure he did it in a Sunbeam which he still has today....my guess this was in the 70's.
