Corvettes/Cobras & Warbirds

At Gillespie Field in El Cajon...friend arranged photo shoot...then we did a run to Julian for lunch...the Spearman in pic is owned by one of the Cobra guys..this is the last airplane owned and flown by the late actor Steve McQueen...the "N" number was was his reform school number in Chino,Ca...

Short run after the pics...only 96 miles...:crylol:

When I filled up this AM,91 octane was $4.59....we expect it to hit $5 within two weeks...got to get the 69 out to suck up more gas....:wink::lol:
